Friday

7:00pm
Arrival

Upon arrival, you will go to the Mahoney Lodge where you will check in and get a map of the park. Parking is limited, so call Kelly at 308-440-1134 to shuttle you to the cabins. You can then go to the cabin I have assigned you (which I will do prior to the retreat), and pick your bunk bed (yes, just like when we were kids). Then we will come together at cabin #3 for a fun “get to know you”. Tacos will be provided. Please bring your own beverage.

Saturday

9:00am-11:00am
Watercolor

Workshops will start at 9:00am. You can go to the lodge before to purchase a “grab and go” breakfast at the restaurant, Carl's at Mahoney, before joining Dannuy Reneau in the cottonwood room for his watercolor workshop.

Jewelry

While Lynette Fast sets up for her jewelry workshop, feel free to purchase a grab and go lunch.

Glacial Till

We will head in as a group to Ashland, where we will stop by the Turtle Creek Art Gallery to enjoy lots of original art. Feel free to explore Ashland's downtown. Then, at 6:00, we will cross the street to the Glacial Till tasting room for more get to know you time. The charcuterie will be complimentary, and you can purchase your own beverage. I suggest ordering from their wonderful wine menu!

Gelliplate printing

After another good night’s sleep in the cabins, workshops will begin at 9:00am. Feel free again to purchase breakfast before you join. Ginger Wilson will be ready for you in the Cottonwood room where she will share her incredible talent in Gelliplate printing.

Collage

Take a short break while Nicole Shulde sets up for her collage workshop.
You will be amazed at the works of art you will create!!
