"I love to use bright colors and lots of pattern when creating my art. I see so many possibilities in my surroundings. I may use grasses and leaves to patina metal or I may use them for monoprinting. I have a penchant for vintage things and rusty bits and they may find their way into my art.

Most recently I have been exploring flowers and nature. I include monoprints as a collage element, for their strong color and contrasting patterns. I start with a general idea for a piece, and let it evolve as I work. Sometimes the best pieces bloom from only seeing the next step and not envisioning the final result."
